My outside boy got some Christmas ball playing! And don't let the hat and gloves fool you. It was 65 degrees!! He just likes them.
Riding around after playing ball. Notice the hat and gloves came off. It was getting too hot!

4th Anniversary!

Today is my 4th wedding anniversary :) On Friday Joel surprised me with lunch at Rio Grill and some beautiful flowers. It was so nice to have an unexpected break during the day to eat some great food with my honey! Thanks hubby!

Warm Wonderland?

It may be a week away from Christmas, but I honestly don't feel it. But it's hard with no snow and a day in the 70's!! I think I'll take the warm over the blizzard though :) We spent the morning at the zoo with friends and the afternoon playing outside.
We had long sleeved shirts on at first but it was too hot, so we had to go back in and change into short sleeves :)
My little climber

For some reason we have 2 kinds of grass in our complex. You can see the yellow in the background and the green grass up front. It's kind of weird. They should have gone for all the green stuff!!

Lots more fun!

Joel's parents came for a visit. Emery was so spoiled and got another set of grandparents to play with! It was pretty rainy and cold, but Emery didn't mind playing day after day with his grandma and grandpa.
We had a little early Christmas and opened some gifts.

Grandma even let him help with the cooking!
Thanks for coming and we'll see you next year! We love you John and Kathy!

The True Spirit of Christmas

I saw this on our cousin's blog and thought it was a great idea, so I'm sharing it with all of you too :)

The True Spirit of Christmas

For the month of December we share a gift with you, so the true spirit of Christmas may join your family too. Now throughout this holiday season, as the days get hectic and long, gather together at the end of each day to share a scripture, story, and song. With your hearts and voices joined together, the spirit will ring loud and clear. We hope this time spent together will fill your holidays with love and cheer!
We hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Happy Thanksgiving

It seemed we were going to have a lonely Thanksgiving this year, with just the 3 of us (husband, kiddo, and me). Not exactly enough people to eat a huge Thanksgiving turkey and spread! So we may not have even done it. Until....my parents decided to come for a visit! Yeah!! We were especially grateful for our family this Thanksgiving!

Emery couldn't get enough of his Grandparents! And it worked out well for me too, to get a break. Especially since I was feeling sick most of the weekend!

Emery got pretty good at saying "pom-pa" (Grandpa)

It was really nice that Joel had a couple days off work too!
