As promised

Ok, so you asked for it...here are some pictures of our move and new place. It's probably going to be pretty long!! (Sorry if they aren't in order as far as the rooms go, when I upload so many photos they get mixed up and I'm just too lazy to move them back into order!)

*You will notice some of the after pictures really aren't much better than the before. Mostly we've unpacked a lot of boxes and then moved a bunch of stuff into the 3rd bedroom(which is by far the messiest right now). I've still got some organizing and decorating to do. So I guess instead of saying AFTER it is more like INBETWEEN but you get the idea. I'll post more when things are looking really good!!*

We are here!!

So, all our stuff was delivered on Wed! We stayed the night here in Greenville at a hotel. We have a ton of work to do putting things away. I took some before pics and will post them later. Right now we don't have internet yet, so I'm using a public computer at the office. There are lots of things we still have to do (i.e. drivers licence, car registration and insurance, buy a washer/dryer etc... the list goes on). So be patient!!! I'll get some pics up as soon as I can!

The time has finally come

It's actually happening. On Tuesday, movers will come and pack us up and we'll move from Atlanta, GA. We've been here just over 2 years and while we feel ready to move on, will miss the friends we've made! Living in the city definately has it's perks (Ikea, H&M, etc) but we are excited to live in a little smaller city. Simpsonville, SC here we come!Our last Sunday at the Atlanta ward building on Lee St.

Emery's Party!

On Saturday we had a little birthday party for Emery! He won't turn 2 until next month, but since we are moving, I wanted Em to have some fun with his friends. We just did a simple playgroup style party. I put out a load of toys in the activity room at our apartment and let the kids all play together. I also put on Bob the Builder and Elmo for them to watch. We had pizza and salad for lunch, yummy!
Emery wasn't interested in smiling for the picture, he just wanted his ice cream!
