Playtime
Emery is getting so big and learning so much. As of late, he is climbing and getting into anything he can find! It's so fun to watch him explore, but a little bit difficult trying to keep him from getting hurt. He is also getting very smart. He will now dump his box of blocks out, then put them all back in! He can also get lots of things open like CD and DVD cases, the baby wipe box, and his snack containers. He loves to "read" (and by read I mean turn pages) books and push around trucks. He is walking more and more every day! He used to only do it once a day, usually before bed when Joel and I would coax him. But now, he'll pick up and toy, stand up and take it across the room. And in a little over a month he will have his first birthday! We are planning to take him to the Georgia Aquarium. It is supposed to be really cool... we'll see if he even notices!

Book Club
For those of you in the Atlanta ward this is for you...
Are we still reading "How to talk so kids will listen and listen so kids will talk" by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish? Just curious because I looked on the library website for it and there are only 3 copies. Not exactly enough to go around. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place, let me know. :)

Time Out For Women
Has anyone gone to a Deseret Book "Time out for Women"? There is going to be one in Atlanta on November 2 & 3. I wanted to know if anyone knows if it is any good/worth the money. Here is the link: DeseretBook.com/tofw

He's almost walking!!
Emery is so close to walking, Joel and I are so excited! This clip shows him taking a couple of steps but he kind of falls at the end. But it's still really cute!
Ready for Snow!
My Aunt Pam made this sweater and hat. We tried it on Emery and he liked pulling the hat off his head better than wearing it. The pom poms are fun to play with too! We are so excited to visit Utah and Nevada for Christmas. We got our tickets and are ready to go! We'll be there December 17-28. Yeah for holidays!
My Blog Has Arrived!!
The time has come and I've finally gotten on the blog scence! Many friends have been telling me for some time that this is the way to go, but alas I've finally done it! You were right, it was really easy to set up and should have done it a lot sooner!! I'll bet you are all on the edge of your seats to learn the latest drama from inside the Neff home! Just kidding, it's not all that exciting really. With one exception, Emery is so close to walking!! He took 7 steps in a row last week and yesterday (Sept. 5th) he took 10 steps! CRAZY!
