Atlanta Hawks

We went to the Atlanta Hawks basketball game on Wednesday the 12th and had a blast! We got in free (thanks Justin R!) for our YM/YW activity. Emery did better than expected and we only left at the end of the 3rd quarter. It was a late night but well worth it!

-How long have you been married? 3 years

-How long did you date? 8 months (plus engaged for4 months)

-Who eats more sweets? Joel, but probably only by a little; I eat a lot too

-Who said I love you first? I did

-How old is he? 26

-Who is taller? He is

-Who is smarter? He is; Engineering is so over my head!

-Who can sing better? No idea, but we won't quit our day jobs!

-Who does the laundry? Me usually but he helps whenever I need it

-Who pays the bills? I do

-Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does

-Who mows the lawn? No lawn yet but I've been known to mow

-Who cooks dinner? I do usually, unless I'm burned out then he'll do it for me :)

-Who drives? Me; but only because I'm a horrible backseat driver and it drives him crazy! (Except for Sundays, he drives; I don't know why--probably because I'm always running late and he goes and gets the car for me!)

-Who is more stubborn? I am! I'm lucky he puts up with me

-Who kissed who first? Joel kissed me, and it was the best first kiss ever!

-Who asked who out? I asked Joel out but was turned down (he was going out with another girl that night!) but then he asked me out to a BYU basketball game for our first date.

-Who proposed? Joel did; I knew it was coming but he tried to surprise me and be romantic but I wouldn't get out of the car because I didn't want to get any more mosquito bites! I ruin everything!

-Who has more siblings? Depends on how you are counting. Joel has more actual sibling but I've got more if you count half-siblings... it's complicated

-Who wears the pants? It depends on the day but probably Joel

I found this cute little chair at Ross for like 10 buck and it is a hit! Emery drags it everywhere around the house. But I just hope it lasts (it's not the highest quality in the world!). But we'll see how glad I am about it when he figures out he can use it to climb up on everywhere, not just to turn on and off the lights!

Mitt 2008

Mitt Romney came to Georgia Tech on the Monday before Super Tuesday and we thought we'd see what a political rally was like! It was pretty fun, and we got some nice stickers :)

I have been teaching Emery how to use a fork at dinner. It seems he must be catching on! Except now he thinks he needs to eat his breakfast with a fork too! And not just any fork, my hair pic he found my bathroom bag! I get a kick out kids when they do silly things like this!
