One last hoorah!

Last night we went to a baseball game!
It was Grandma's 1st time ever going to one and we all had a ball ;)
I think this is about it for our big outings for a little while. I'm set to be induced Saturday morning. I'm going into the hospital at 5am. Ouch. Guess I better go to bed early tonight!

And I guess I should pack my hospital bag today...

It's that time of year!

It's strawberry picking time here is South Carolina! Emery loved going with his Grandma Kathy!
I didn't take as many pictures this year, but things look pretty much the same as last year. HERE is last year's strawberry picking post!

Don't mind me looking fat and frizzy. It was VERY humid :/

So I made 2 batches of freezer jam plus pureed enough strawberries for another.
We froze 3 bags of whole strawberries.
And we ate up the rest with some yummy fruit dip. MMM. Wonderful...

For any who are interested in the fruit dip recipe I love... (which I got from my friend Laisa)

1 8oz package cream cheese
1 jar marshmallow fluff
1-2 drops vanilla

Mix well and eat up!

On my mind...

Baby Girls

Sugar and spice and everything nice

PINK and more PINK and more PINK

When will she come?

What will she look like?

How much will she weigh?

DIAPERS

Feedings?!

Sleepless nights

Little toes and fingers

How much hair will she have?

What color will her eyes be?

My mind is thinking in circles all day every day long!

Am I "ready"? Well I'm ready to be done waiting and being uncomfortable! I'm ready to meet my sweet daughter. But how ready can I really be? How can I be ready for a life changing event not knowing how it will be? Not knowing how my day-to-day routine will be. Not knowing if I'll have a difficult labor. Not knowing if she'll have a gentle temperament or a difficult one. Not knowing how Emery will handle the change. I feel anxious one moment and rushed the next. Every time I feel a low pain my heart jumps thinking my water is about to break and I feel panicked. Then the next moment when I realize it isn't I feel tired of this waiting game again. I don't think I'll every feel more ready than I do now but still when it is time I will feel surprised, nervous, and a little bit rushed. Until then my mind will race and wonder about how it will be...

Master Bathroom

We started this project all the way back in February and finally have it finished! It will be nice to have our master bathroom functioning again :)

First, we pulled out the baseboards and the tile floor.
Then we painted the walls blue and the vanity chocolate brown.
Next we put down a new sub-floor and new floor.
We also pulled out the shower door to clean and re-seal it.
Lastly we put up a new framed mirror and a double towel rack.

It was a lot of work but we are so happy with how it turned out! And I'm even happier it's done before the baby arrived :)

Here are some before and after photos!

Ta da! I think my hubby does great work. Thanks for the best Mother's Day present honey!!
