Baby's Room!

Baby's room is almost finished! Here are some pictures :)
Crib and swing

Changing table

Gliding chair and bouncer
(I still need a shelf or something else for this wall. And I need to steam the curtains!)

Closet

This used to be our tv stand in the living room. We took the doors off, painted it dark brown and now are using it to organize the closet!

Baseball and gardens

Last week we went to our first baseball game of the season! And it wouldn't be a baseball game with out a hot dog and some cotton candy :)

It was a little cold that night so we are looking forward to the summer when the nights are warmer!

Now that our garden is done, it's time to plant some seeds!
Emery loved putting them in. We planted carrots, peas, lettuce, tomatoes, corn, watermelon, and cantaloupe.

We'll be doing lots of watering every day!

And lots of waiting too :)

35 Weeks

Oh wow things are getting uncomfortable! I'm 35 weeks now.
And if you wonder why my eyes are red that would be because of the awesome allergies I have :)

Spring!

I'm so glad things are growing and green finally!

I just wish my allergies weren't so bad! Pollen counts are very high this year. Ik.

Easter Weekend

Saturday we went to Heritage Park for the Easter egg hunt. But first Emery played some basketball!

And gave the Easter bunny a hug!

Then played on some bouncy slides!

Finally we got in line for the 3-4 year old's egg hunt.

Yeah there were a LOT of people there!

But Emery got a handful of eggs and was happy :)

Then it was back to the games and bouncy toys

-----------------------

Easter morning Emery was happy to find his Easter basket!

Daddy even made some bunny pancakes. Which were then decorated with raisins!

Here we are on Easter (Conference) Sunday!
We even made it to the church to watch the 1st session of conference Sunday morning!

ps- I totally spaced getting Emery a new tie for Easter so I whipped this one up in about an hour Sunday morning using one of Joel's old ties! Whew!
We finally got around to dying eggs for FHE on Monday
I was a little nervous but we had no spills!

Here are the eggs :)

Spring Weather!!

It got up to 80 degrees yesterday so we got out the swimming pool!

And Joel worked in the "garden" too. (It is still a work in progress!) First we pulled out a gnarly tree just about where Joel is standing. Then we used some bricks to designate our raised garden spot. Now we are filling it with dirt so we can start planting some time this month!

Oh, and we couldn't forget to pull all the big rocks out of the garden dirt!

Joel has also spent a lot of time clearing out the "flower beds" around our deck. I use the word flower loosely. It was really just some junky bushes and a big hot mess! There was even two ugly little trees at the corners of the deck that attracted BEES! That didn't make much sense to me! So we pulled them out! Now we just need to decide what to do with the empty space.
