Winter Weather Warning

While enjoying my Monday night shows, there was a constant winter weather warning running across the television screen. I was thinking it must be pretty intense given the amount of screen time it was getting!
Tuesday morning I wake up to this:

Um. Seriously? This is what all the fuss was about? Wimps! It wasn't even sticking to the roads! I'm sure all you friends and family in Utah and Nevada will join with me in saying that this is not snow. It barely qualifies as a "dusting". I really don't think these people could make it out west.
And to top it all off, today (friday) it hit the 60's.
Weather in the south, I've come to conclusion, can't make up it's mind. Or it has some serious mood swings!
But, just having the chance of 60 degree weather in January is pretty sweet!

That is so funny! I am totally jealous that it is in the 60s!

That's hilarious!!! I felt that way a little bit in Indiana (not that there isn't bad weather there, cause there is) but they cancel church and delay school ALL THE TIME. It seemed like at least twice a week I heard on the radio that school was delayed or cancelled. I think that happened once the whole time I went to school.

My kids were SO disappointed at this false show of snow. We had even less than you did - it didn't even show on the grass. We are from Utah so we miss the real thing.

That's exactly how the Texans treat snow. It snowed a month ago and they FREAKED out. It was hilarious. And, we only ended up with 2-3 inches - all of which was gone by the end of the day.

I've got a funny one for you... In Tampa everyone's so wimpy that when it actually gets down into the 60's, everyone breaks out their winter coats, sweaters, scarves, and gloves! Now that's cold!
