Call us chicken if you want, but this is the first time we've gone camping since having Emery! He loved it and we had lots of fun too! It helped though that it was a ward camp out so we had lots of friends to hang around with.
We roasted some hot dogs and marshmellows, then bummed some watermelon from some friends!
So excited!

Emery's friend was our tent neighbor and they had tons of fun bouncing around on the air mattress and blankets!
We even let Emery stay up past his bedtime. We are such nice parents! :)

Not a chicken one bit! I don't know if Jordyn will ever experience camping on my watch. That is for YW girls camp and her dad. Mom will be at the local Holiday Inn. :) Looks like you guys had fun!
So fun! Way to go guys! We have been hiking a lot lately and Bridger takes it upon himself to make sure every rock he finds gets thrown into the water. I love boys!
Awww, what fun! This is lame, but Paul and I haven't even been camping together yet! I dunno why.. we just need to get a tent, sleeping bags, etc. and go this summer. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Did Emery sleep okay?
We did this with Joseph, many moons ago. Next campout . . . eight years later. Just never could fit it in, in between.
So fun! I really want to get out and do that as a family again soon. Dave took Caleb, not even two, on the Father's and Son's camp-out. I was so worried, but they did great and Caleb LOVED it! Glad you all had some fun together.
